SINTERSTORE

Store set intersection.
2 min read

Use SINTERSTORE to compute the intersection of sets and store it in another key.

The destination is overwritten if it exists and deleted when the intersection is empty, and the reply is the number of members stored. Materializing the result pays off when the same intersection is read repeatedly or feeds further set operations, since the destination is an ordinary set.

Client libraries often decode bulk strings, maps, sets, and numeric strings into language-native values. The table describes the Redis wire reply.
