SMEMBERS

Get all set members.
1 min read

Use SMEMBERS to get every member of a set.

A missing key returns an empty result, and members come back in no particular order, since sets are unordered. The whole set is transferred in one reply, so on large sets prefer SSCAN, which walks the members in batches, and use SISMEMBER when you only want to test membership.

Client libraries often decode bulk strings, maps, sets, and numeric strings into language-native values. The table describes the Redis wire reply.
